Our Clinics
Hellbitch Ranch Clinics offer immersive, hands-on experiences where individuals come to work with horses, land, and honest ranch skills to uncover deeper clarity, confidence, and connection within themselves. Each clinic blends practical horsemanship with personal growth, inviting participants into a space where grit meets reflection, challenge meets support, and the range becomes a place of real transformation. Whether through groundwork, riding, or slow, mindful time with the herd, every clinic is designed to help people step into their own strength, settle into presence, and reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve set aside. No expectations, no roles to perform—just the open sky, good horses, and a ranch that holds space for whoever you are and whatever you’re becoming.

July 24-26
Winston, Montana
Stay in the heart of Montana ranch country and spend three unforgettable days with the Hellbitch horse training crew for our Colt Starting Clinic & Ranch Stay. This is a hands-on, dirt-on-your-boots experience designed for riders who want to learn the foundations of starting a young horse with confidence, clarity, and respect.
You’ll work alongside seasoned horsewomen who believe in quiet feel, thoughtful pressure, and building a colt up—not breaking one down. From groundwork and softening exercises to first rides and practical ranch scenarios, you’ll learn the full process in a supportive, small-group environment where every horse and human gets personalized attention.
Between sessions, settle into life at Hellbitch Ranch. Guests stay right on the ranch—waking up to coffee on the porch, watching the sun rise over big country, and sharing hearty meals with the crew. Evenings mean bonfires, stories from the road and the rodeo, and the kind of western camaraderie you can’t fake.
Whether you’re bringing a colt of your own or just want to deepen your horsemanship, this clinic blends learning, ranch living, and a whole lot of grit and laughter. Come ride with us, live with us, and leave with skills—and memories—that stick.
Restorative Range
Through mindful horse activities, community, steady routine, and the quiet power of the ranch, Restorative Range Weekend nurtures healing and self discovery for those recovering and finding themselves post Traumatic Brain Injury.
(Date TBD)
Winston, Montana
Restorative Range Weekend is a place for people living with traumatic brain injury to explore who they are now—beyond the disruption, beyond the loss, beyond the old story they’re tired of being measured against. Out here at Hellbitch Ranch, the wide prairie makes room for the parts of you that feel unclear, unfinished, or newly forming.
After a brain injury, identity can feel scrambled. The old you is still there, but quieter. The new you is emerging, but unsure. The world doesn’t always give space for that in-between phase. The ranch does. Horses do. They meet you exactly as you are, in the moment you’re in, and reflect back a truth that doesn’t need words: you’re still you, even if you’re different now.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll work gently with the horses—brushing, leading, breathing alongside them—in ways that support presence rather than performance. There’s no pressure to “be who you were.” Instead, you get to notice who’s showing up now. Maybe it’s the version of you that’s softer. Or more cautious. Or stronger in quieter ways. Maybe it’s someone you haven’t met yet.
Between the open sky, the slow rhythm of ranch life, and the honesty of the herd, this weekend helps untangle identity from injury. It invites you to listen to the instincts that survived the impact, the strengths that resurfaced in recovery, and the parts of you that are ready to root into something new.
Restorative Range Weekend isn’t about going back. It’s about discovering forward—finding the self who grew from everything you’ve endured, and giving room to step fully into the light again.
